Lei Jasinski, vocalist and bassist, is one-half of the music group LJ, with her brother Larry Jasinski on keyboards and electric guitar. This duo from the Texas Hill Country composes and performs a unique blend of electronic and acoustic music. Influenced by an eclectic combination of styles and musicians, LJ draws from progressive rock, jazz, blues, and classical.

Lei also writes jazzy and folk-flavored songs on acoustic guitar. Her latest work is a story song called "The Dinosaur Waltz." This whimsical ballad, produced by Red Nickel Records and recorded by LJ with drummer Jon Hahn, celebrates some of Texas's (and the world's) most famous dinosaur tracks. "The Dinosaur Waltz" also heralds the release of Lei's new book Dinosaur Highway. (She's also a historian and writer.) Enjoy this fun song for the young and young at heart.
